Guide for the disposal of packaging of VSG EMEA products
The VSG EMEA Group pays special attention to optimising its activities and to the shipping system in order to reduce its impact on the environment.
One important aspect of this attention concerns the packaging used for shipping the Group’s products.
In compliance with the Environmental Labelling Guidelines (Art. 219, paragraph 5 of Italian Legislative Decree 152 of 3 April 2006), which came into force on 1 January 2023, VSG EMEA undertakes to:
- Alphanumerically code, based on Decision 97/129/CE, the material making up the packaging (where possible) for proper collection and re-use of the packaging.
- Provide a QR Code to facilitate retrieval of the information regarding the content on the environmental labelling of the materials used in the packaging.
Below we are providing, by way of a guide, a complete overview of the information required by environmental labelling legislation for the collection, re-use, recovery and recycling of the packaging of VSG EME products.
